By accessing, creating an account on, or using SILLR, you agree to these Terms of Service and to any policies referenced within them.
If you use the platform on behalf of a child, school, family, or organization, you confirm that you have the legal authority to accept these Terms for that person or entity.
Eligibility and Account Registration
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and while using the platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Students and parents may only book classes using approved and lawful payment methods.
- Teachers must complete onboarding, verification, and approval requirements before they may appear in the marketplace.
- SILLR may suspend or terminate accounts that are fraudulent, misleading, inactive for risk reasons, or in breach of these Terms.
Marketplace and Learning Services
SILLR provides software tools that allow students and parents to discover teachers, book sessions, communicate, and join live classes.
Teachers provide educational services independently through the platform subject to our verification, quality, and conduct rules.
- Teachers control their own availability, teaching offers, and instructional style subject to platform standards.
- Students and parents are responsible for reviewing teacher information, availability, and pricing before booking.
- SILLR may moderate listings, rank or recommend teachers, and remove services that do not meet trust, safety, or compliance standards.
Payments, Fees, and Platform Processing
Payments on SILLR may be processed through third-party providers including Stripe and Paystack. By purchasing or receiving payouts through the platform, you agree to any applicable processor terms.
SILLR may collect service fees, payment processing fees, dispute offsets, chargeback adjustments, taxes, or compliance-related deductions where legally required.
Platform Conduct and Prohibited Activity
Users must behave lawfully, respectfully, and safely at all times. Harassment, hate speech, sexual misconduct, fraud, payment circumvention, impersonation, or content abuse are prohibited.
Teachers and students may not take bookings, payments, or child-contact interactions off-platform where SILLR requires platform supervision, auditability, or payment handling.
Suspension, Removal, and Enforcement
SILLR may investigate reports, review session behavior, inspect submitted documents, and take action including warning, delisting, suspension, payout hold, or permanent termination.
We may also restrict access where required by law, regulation, payment network rules, safeguarding obligations, or to protect the integrity of the marketplace.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
SILLR is provided on an as-available basis. We work to maintain uptime, safety, and service quality, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, teacher outcomes, or universal availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SILLR is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or incidental damages, or for loss of profits, data, reputation, or educational opportunity arising from platform use.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Principles
Users should first raise disputes through SILLR support and our internal dispute tools. We may request records, messages, classroom logs, payment records, or identity materials when resolving claims.
These Terms are intended to support global operation and should be interpreted alongside local consumer, privacy, payments, and safeguarding laws where applicable.
